Statistics: Russian producer price index rises 0.6% in September

MOSCOW, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- The Russian producer price index increased by 0.6% on the month and remained flat on the year in September, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Friday.

Natural resource prices grew by 0.8% on the month. Prices in the processing industries increased by 0.7%. Electric power and gas supply prices remained flat.

In 2019, prices of industrial producers rose 2.9%, the service said earlier.
